At my First Nascar Race
Not wall was lost to the rain. I got to attend my first Nascar race. While Marty had to go home to TN & Larry had to work, I did meet Mike (from the previous post) & had a blast. We in the GM Suite which was right in front of the Kasey Kahne pit area. GO KASEY KAHNE! Maybe I shouldn't say that so loud since Kasey drives a Dodge.
Not trying to miss a minute of the race.

Nascar Racing in Fontana
Well another Sunday & another form of Racing.
Mom & Larry went to the Nascar race in Fontana, compliments of their friend (and mine) Marty, who works the GM Suite at quite a few races. Unfortunately for them, it rained a lot & then didn't get the race completed. The first picture below is of Mom & Mike Lentz (head of Nascar Security). She got to know Mike when he was head of NHRA security & she worked for ESPN at the drag races. It is great she gets to visit friends from the day. She did turn into the paparazzi while she was there. The last picture (there are only 2) is of Tom Cruise who was there with his son Connor in the Jimmy Johnson pit.

Pomona Race Weekend Day 5
Here we are Sunday at the races. Grandma has left to head home (I know Grandpa & Nitro missed her something awful) but I really enjoyed my time with her just the two of us and a few welcome visitors.
I also got a special surprise. My friend Autumn (Robert & Adria Hight's daughter) coudln't make it to my birthday party so they brought me a present to the track. How nice was that. So I got to open another birthday gift. Don't you love it when birthdays never end...
Checking out where in the hospitality area we could set it up.

Pomona Race Weekend Day 4
Day 4 with Grandma - Aunt Leslie & Papa Rick got up early to head home & Grandma & I just hung out at the house since we had been staying up so late these past several nights to see Dad & Mom when they got home. Plus I get to go to the races tomorrow. It wasn't as exciting since the car daddy works on, you know, Del Worsham, didn't qualify.
Watching Qualifying on ESPN2 & eating dinner.

Pomona Race Weekend Day 3
Day 3 with Grandma - I officially started my Little Gym semester today & Grandma had a blast watching me. However the pictures she took through the glass didn't turn out well enough to post, so I guess you will just have to come & watch me sometime.
Aunt Leslie & Papa Rick stopped by to spend the night again on their way home. Which was nice since they were able to see Grandma too.
When mom came home tonight she had gifts from Sheila. (Daddy & Chris (Sheila's husband) used to work together on the blue car.) Sheila works for Gillett Everhnam Motorsports in Concord, NC & brought some Kasey Kahne stuff for me. I love drag racing but also love Nascar. I would say that Kasey is one of my favorite drives. Thanks Aunt Sheila for my Kasey Kahne Stuff I Love it! (Please note that I do use his full name - Kasey Kahne - when referring to him)
We got to eat Chocolate Care & Chocolate Frosting

Pomona Race Weekend Day 2
Day 2 with Grandma - The side yard had standing water from the leaves that clogged the drain so Grandma decided to help mom & dad out & fix the problem. I couldn't let her do it alone, so I helped. Then after all our hard work we were able to play hard too (soccer & basketball). Then we were invited over to Del & Connie's for dinner that night. So I got to play with Kate & Maddy.
No, Kate doesn't have me in a choke hold

Pomona Race Weekend
Well, as I mentioned a few entries ago, we are heading into race weekend. So, with dad at the races & mom working in Credentials at the races too, we needed someone to watch me while they worked. I never care when Grandma is down. Here are some pictures from our first day together.

Playing with my tool bench in the garage.
Playing with vehicles & a track Grandma brought
from her house.
Eating my cereal with milk instead of out of the box.
(notice in the above pic I have an individual box of Frosted Flakes)
Lunch Time Picnic
PB & J how great is that
Getting a little messy after taking my PB&J apart.

Visitors
We had overnight visitors the next day. Aunt Leslie & Uncle (Papa) Rick stopped by on their way to visit friends in Arizona (I think). We always like having family stop by if even for 1 night.
I even got Aunt Leslie to read me a book. Looks like Papa Rick is sleeping but I think mom just caught him blinking.

Visitors
Well, since it is February, we know racing is just around the corner. And with the races coming to town that means friends are in town too.
Larry & Allison Lush are very good friends of ours. Larry worked on the Blue car the entire time Daddy & Chris ran it and now works on Doug Herbert's Dragster & Allison has run Doug's T-shirt trailer for several years now. She is my connection to all those dragsters I have (it pays to flirt). Obviously they have know me my entire life (3 whole years). Anyway, they are very good to me & wanted to see me since it had been since November. So they were able to stop by & visit with mom & I (dad was working).
More recently, I have gotten to hang with Allison in the t-shirt trailer while mom went up and watch the runs from the starting line. Mom & I appreciate it very, very much. Thanks!

Little Gym
Here we are back at blogging again. Finally in February 2008, looks like I am staying consistently 3 month's behind. Oh well, like I always say, one of these days.
So on with the blog. A few weeks prior to this day (yes, back in January) Mom & I went to check out The Little Gym by our house. Well, after a free trial class to see if I would like it (who are we kidding a 3 year old in a room where I can run, jump & be a kid...) mom signed me up. Well there were only a few weeks left in that semester (sounds like school already) & this was the final class day where we did our routine. Just so happens Steve, Steph, Gaige, Havi, & Ellery were at our house (on their way to a Stewart family reunion in Palm Springs) and Steph, Gaige & Havi were able to go with mom to watch my first "Show". It was a lot of fun having family there to cheer me on.
Love & Hope to blog again soon.

Part of my routine
I didn't have the landing just yet.
Now to the balance beam with Miss Carla
Preparing to dismount
Getting some help from Havi while we were waiting for everyone else to finish.

A end of my forward roll
