On an off weekend (a weekend daddy doesn't race) we went to Balboa Island in Newport Beach. CA. There is a little boardwalk area where you can ride a Ferris wheel & Carousel. They have a small nautical museum and you can rent boats. So we did it all (almost). We rented an electric boat and rode around the harbor for an hour. I had to wear a life vest, which I didn't care for to much and just sat on mom's lap for the first bit. But I actually lightened up and had a great time. Then we grabbed a snack after I rode the carousel (I didn't want to ride the Ferris wheel). We then checked out the nautical museum where I was able to touch some sea creatures then it was off for some ice cream. After that we headed home to put my new big boy bed together.
Check in later.
