Decorating the tree

With all the packing for the move & having to make a quick trip to Kansas for Papa Don's memorial, we weren't able to go all out with our decorations. But mom still wanted me to have a tree. So she pulled out our baby tree & decorated it.

This tree has a special significance that many of you might not have known. You see, Mom bought the tree in December 2004 while she was pregnant with me. With all the baby stuff they were getting there wasn't any room to set up the regular tree. But it didn't seem like Christmas without a tree. So her & Grandma went to Target on Christmas Eve & got a great deal on what is now my Christmas tree. It is 4' tall & I decorated it & we put it up in my room every year after that until this year when it was our family tree again.

Getting ready to decorate.

Grandma was in charge of the hooks

I know exactly where I want to put this one.

If the hook would just cooperate.

Look Garland

Why don't I decorate myself.

See how I concentrate on ornament placement?

All Done!

All lit up.

You can't forget the star topper.

Now, why don't I decorate myself again.
This is harder than it looks.

Let's see how many ornaments I can get on my fingers.

Good Night!
